PHYSICS NOTES

Laser

Laser stands for 'Laser Amplification by Stimulated Emission Of Radiation'. It is a device that produce a light beam having same distinguishing & remarkable properties. The laser light is made up of waves, all same frequency (nearly monochromatic) & in phase with one another (i.e. coherent). It is well collimated & therefore, diverges very little ever for long distances.
  • Laser & Its applications
  • Laser & Holography
  • Relation between spontaneous & stimulation emission or Einstein's coefficient.
  • Laser pumping, etc.

Newton's laws of motion

This topic comprises of all the motion around us such as :
  • Newton's laws of motion
  • Dynamic of system and particles
  • Conservation of momentum & energy
  • Work Energy theorem
  • conservation of angular momentum
  • Torque
  • Kepler's law, etc.

Waves & Oscillation

Oscillatory motion is one type of motion that can occur when body is subjected to a force that varies in time. This topic comprises several sub-topic such as :

SHM:

  • Simple Harmonic Motion
  • Equation of SHM
  • Characteristic of SHM
  • Free Oscillation
  • Damped Oscillation, etc.
